ground-breaking book -

This is a delicious book, not only in what it describes, but in how it presents it. As someone who grew up in a rural Ireland where "real food" was the norm, I applaud the author in bringing a little-known cuisine to the world's attention. Ireland has long been the home of "farm-to-table" food, and the author shows how a new sophistication can translate that into world-class dishes.
