Orvis Tweed Jacket - 12/10/2015
By: LeighSmith from Dallas, TXI was looking for a replacement for my husband's favorite jacket that we have somehow misplaced. This was the closest jacket that I could find to it. I was skeptical because of the cheap price, but pleasantly surprised by the feel and look of it. The color is a nice bluish/gray color. Conservative enough for my husband, I think! I think that he will like it!

Nice Jacket - 11/23/2015
By: Pete2244 from PennsylvaniaReal nice jacket. The only complaint that I would have is that you have to unbutton the pockets to put keys or your hands in them. So I will have to get used to that. But the buttons do make the jacket look nicer. So I will get used to that. Otherwise true to fit and very nice looking.

By: chitownmike from Elmhurst Il.Got home late and saw the package. My new jacket is here!!! I tore into the package and retrieved my item. It slipped on nicely, and the fit is great. I started posing in front of the mirror to see how good the jacket looked, and how good it made me look. I was a little disappointed as the jacket looked very dark and you could not see the tweed pattern. I put aside and decided to think about it overnight. I arose the next morning to s bright sunny day. My wife greeted me in the kitchen ,and said I should model the new jacket for her.I went and grabbed it and put it on.Our kitchen faces south and is very bright in the morning so when I looked down at the jacket the tweed was very obvious and the colors just popped. I love the jacket, and will wear it often.

Perfect Jacket - 9/28/2015

The fit is great..the style unmistakably "UK".Just right for a Fall day..and room enough for a sweater under it.38 Reg was true to size..as sometimes Orvis products are cut too BIG .This is right on. The sale price made it a steal!!!!

Classic Fit
- Field-tested and time-honored

Trim Fit
- 1 ½” narrower through the hips
- 1” narrower through the thighs and down the legs
- A ½” shorter back rise allows a closer fit to the body
In all instances, hold tape firm and level, but not tight.
a. Head: Using a flexible/soft tape measure, start 1" above the ear. Follow around head staying 1" above the ear. This will give your most accurate reading. Then refer to the chart for size.
b. Neck Circumference: Wrap tape around to the base of your front neck and allow room for wearing comfort. OR measure the collar length of a favorite shirt.
c. Sleeve Length: From the center back of your neck with your arm slightly bent, follow the tape around to your wrist bone.
d. Chest: Wrap a tape measure evenly around the fullest part under your arms.
e. Waist: Wrap tape around your natural waistline, or where you actually wear your pants.
f. Seat/Hip: Standing with your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hip (approx. 7-8" below the waist). Don’t forget to keep the tape level.
g. Inseam: Best taken from an existing pair of pants you like. Measure along the garment inseam from the crotch seam to the hem.
h. Glove Hand: Measure all the way around the flat part of your hand, excluding the thumb, and around the widest part at the knuckles. Use the chart above to convert this measurement in inches to your corresponding glove size.
