You would think that net is a net. Not so. There are certain features a net needs to have if it is to be a useful tool when trying to land a trophy (and unhappy) trout/bass/crappie, etc. Strength and durablility are obvious, but balance is equally important. And similar to a golf club, you have to like what you are looking at. Orvis Brodin have all of these features. I have used these nets for quite some time and like them so well, I have two of them...,I've used this net an many rivers and it has landed many trout and grayling, perfect for catch and release. It looks the part and will last a life time ,Im sure of it, thanks again Orvis! Tight Lines and Dry socks.....,I picked up this net during a stay at Blackberry Farm. If you have ever fished their private waters then you know you need a good net. I have had this net for almost 10 years and it is still as beautiful and functional as the day I got it,What a well made and beautiful landing net. It took a lot of thought to spend as much but it was love at first. The lightness is most impressive. This net will certainly be handed down.,I recieved this at Christmas and i could not wait to try it out. Well it works great, the hooks do not get caught up in the netting and the material is soft for releaseing fish unharmed.
