I bought this product in olive and brown. Both are size medium. I tied on size 10 3x streamer hooks from the Clearwater assortment. The chenille has a great shimmer to it and makes some great looking buggers. I caught fish the first time I used it. I'm very happy with this purchase and will be tying loads of buggers with it.

This is the chenille to use for buggers - just over 1/8 of an inch in diameter. The color I bought (Sculpin, which is greenish, brownish, olive colored), included a little bit of flash in the mix. Absolutely love this stuff.
Good stuff -

I've been teaching a fly tying class for beginners, They all want to tie Woolly Buggers and this chenille is just perfect for them to use. Not only is it easy to handle and tie on the fly but it adds a dynamic to the end product. Looks like they will be catching some fish with these flies after using this great chenille!
tightly woven, just enough flash to show up, good color.

Ties on fine and I like the look of it, but I do have two complaints. 1) It is REALLY big and is somewhat hard to work with. 2) The "shiny" stuff comes off very easily.
