The Perfect White Shirt -
By: conniew from Abilene, TX
My husband has been looking for a nice white long sleeve shirt to wear on any occasion, so I bought him this Cotton Poplin Bush Shirt. He loved it so much that he had me order him another one!
Poplin Bush Shirt -
By: Jorvis1 from Ossining, New York
I was really anxious to get this shirt. I like the look and style of it. I now know what POPLIN really means. The cloth makes noise as I wear it. It's been washed close to 6 times in the hope that the wash will soften the fabric. It has a little bit. Again the styling is great, but the feel of the cloth sure can be improved. It would be nice if it came in a no-iron.
One of my favorite shirts -

This shirt has all the qualities I want in a Shirt, great craftsmanship, pockets, sleeves that roll up and stay, and cool. Love this shirt, plan on ordering another.
Great Quality -

I love this shirt...I bought my original in 1999 in Khaki and am still wearing it (although it has some patchwork on it now)... When it came time for me to get married I actually loved the fit and style so much I ordered one in white. It looked great for my wedding.
Outstanding White Shirt -
By: xcavalry from Chicago, IL
This Orvis shirt is sharp, well made, and crisp looking, The overall look with the two chest pockets and epaulettes is outstanding. This shirt can go casual or dress-up. Another winner by Orvis.
Great Shirt -

This is one of my two favorite shirts of all time, the other being Orvis's Bush Shirt in British Tan. It is very well designed and constructed. The stiffness that others have whined about is there for a purpose: this shirt is for hot and humid summer days, and the stiffness prevents the fabric from wilting. In other words, you'll continue to look sharp despite the worst that the weather can throw at you. I love the shirt and wouldn't be without one or more of them in the summer.
Great Year Round Shirt -
By: Irishflyguy from WSashington, DC
The cotton poplin bush shirt is a year round shirt. The craftsmanship is excellent and the weight of the fabrick is ideal for both summer and fall seasons. Highly recommend this shirt.
It's good! But.... -
By: DickLaneTCU from Arlington, TX
Just go it and it's a nice shirt! There is a "but" however....the reviews that mention how stiff the fabric is are accurate. It is amazing how stiff this fabric is. The shirt literally was able to stand on its on. That being said...I knew that running the shirt through the laundry many times would help. I washed it three times and soaked it in fabric softener for a while. All of that helped. I know that the more I run it through the laundry that it will get better and better. So..yes....I recommend it but you need to work on it to make it really comfy
Very nice shirt, but… -
This shirt looks sharp and crisp, but the hard poplin fabric demands more ironing that the regular cotton. Of course the linen can go as-is, right from the dryer. My main issue with this shirt is the sizing. If I get one with long enough sleeves, the rest of it is about 150% the required size. If I get one to fit my neck and torso, the sleeves are about 1.5 inches too short. I am 6'1" at 195lbs. My shirt size from most places is a 16/35, as a reference. In the Orvise scheme of things, that means a ?medium" shirt, with the sleeves from a "large." Your milage may vary.
Causal Bush Shirt -
By: DAC1 from Greensboro, NC
I wanted to expand my wardrobe with a causal white shirt that could be considered a step down from my button downs. This shirt met my expectations and because it's a bush shirt rolling up the sleeves looks just as good as down!
