Replay the most significant European battle in history with these collectible chess pieces. On Sunday, June 18, 1815, in what is now present-day Belgium, Napoleon's French army was rightly defeated by coalition forces led by the Duke of Wellington. This defeat, with the signing of the Treaty of Paris, marked the end of the Napoleonic Wars. These meticulously crafted chessmen are cast in polystone resin (a blend of crushed stone and liquid resin) and hand-decorated. Collectible chess pieces in black and ivory. 3"-4"H. Set of 32.

    had been looking at chess sets for my son and this caught my 'history buff' eyes; they are all beautiful pieces that fit nicely in the hand; board is sturdy, too; was such a nice gift that I purchased another for me
