Great hooks -
By: Dogmusher from Near Syracuse NY
These hooks are super strong, sharp, and perfect for tying San Juan worms for steelhead in the Salmon River, NY. The shape of the worm and hook keeps it from getting hung up on rocks, so the sharp point stays sharp. Best hook I've seen for tying the worm. Try them. You will be satisfied.

Great hook style for many different flies. Beautiful hook.
Strong for steel -

I will be tying flies for steelhead. These hooks have great bending resistance to stay in the mouth during a fight.
Best all around nymph hook -

I keep these hooks in all sizes. The smaller sizes are great for tying and fishing mayfly and caddis nymphs in Potter County PA freestone trout streams. The larger sizes make great stonefly nymphs and sucker spawn patterns for steelheading in Lake Erie tribs.
Great purchase for a strong hook -

I used these hooks to tie Carp flies. After testing them in a bowl of water, I know they will sink without adding a lead wrap. As soon as the conditions are right, I know I will have something with big lips on the end of my line!

I was actually looking for a 1x long hook to tie beadhead caddis larvae. Bought these because I really like Orvis hooks. Went one size smaller and got the equivalent of 1x. A very useful hook.
