Great look and fit! -
After going back in forth in my head on what size Barbour Beadnell Jacket to get, I decided on the 8 US. I am 5'10" and 145 pounds. Typically I wear a size 4-6, but it definitely helped to order a size up on this one. The jacket fits perfectly! A little on the fuller side, but I wouldn't want it to fit tightly anyway. Good for layering underneath!
Great coat! -
I ordered one black and one bark for each of my college daughters. They love the look and fit. One daughter is 5'2 106#, the other is 5'4 120#. Both wear a size 4. The floral lining is a bit more feminine than the plaid. There is not a feature for a zip in lining so you need to provide your own layers underneath. There are no hoods to match but for the black coat I bought a black Barbour storm hood from Orvis that has a plain black interior and attaches perfectly. Both daughters love the style & fit of these coats!

Nice Looking and Well Made Jacket -

I really liked this jacket but had to return it because it was too small. I am 5'3" and weigh 125 lbs. I have broad shoulders so normally wear a size 12-14 (large) shirt or coat. I ordered a large which appeared to be the correct size according to the charts. It was not comfortable, however, especially around the chest (I am 36"). I wanted to exchange it for the XL but that size was out of stock.
Just what I wanted -

I was looking for a practical but cute, casual spring jacket for long city walks with the dog, running errands, trips to the country, etc. This is a nice change from all the urban parkas and lightweight down jackets everyone else is wearing. It is very well made and thoughtfully designed and looks cute with skinny jeans (which balance out the boxy cut). I sized up one size to accommodate my broad shoulders and to fit a sweater or hoodie underneath.
Wife loves the coat -

I bought this coat in black as a surprise for my wife during the Presidents Day sale and she loved the coat so much that I got another one for our daughter. She has a shorter Barbour and she really likes the look, fit, length and especially the lining. A classic that will last for many years and never go out of style.

not a real Barbor -

Real Barbors are made in England. The one I received was made in Moldova. I should have known; the pockets are different and I've never seen this style on Barbor's website.
Since 1894, England's J. Barbour & Sons have produced clothes perfectly suited to life in the country. Their quality, durable clothing is cut for an active lifestyle and the fit varies according to each garment's design and purpose.
The sizing of Barbour’s clothing is divided into four classifications:
In the case of Barbour outerwear, sizing takes into account the appropriate layers beneath. That means you do not need to order a size up for a comfortable fit.
