Really like this bag. Very well constructed with excellent storage compartments. Great looking too. Although I don't normally check luggage this bag wont be hard to find and you will be proud to take it off the conveyor belt.

Great bag... why not in the regular catalog area? - 5/11/2014

I had a 24" roll-aboard Battenkill bag for probably 20 years. I love the warranty center to help repair wear and tear -- I think it's been repaired twice so the bag is definitely economicaly. I have more international trips and they limit us to 22". The Rover is the same design as the other roll-aboards but the faux-leather/ PVC vs Battenkill or bullhide. I upgraded from the Battenkill briefcase to the bullhide -- again, after 20+ years. This leather look is a better match than the green Battenkill. I don't know why this seems to be discontinued except maybe the synthetic material turns people off. I like that it is lighter than bullhide (and no scratches) and it seems to be more durable than the Battenkill. / It was on-sale so I decide to buy it. I'm very happy // The bag is a bit more wobbly than my 24" roll-aboard but that's a consistent the Orvis design not the Rover bag./ At the same price... between Battenkill and Rover... I'd pick the Rover. I would not pick the bullhide even at the same price since the bullhide is so much heavier.
