Dress watch -
By: Johany from San Juan, PR
The watch fell to the floor and broke down into three pieces. Not sturdy enough.
Love my watch -

I always wanted a tank type watch but wouldn't spend the $5000.00 for one. Then I noticed this watch and bought it. I love it. I bought a new band for it and it almost looks to good to be worn daily. Good job guys great product. I love my new watch. Jack

It is well made and looks great and is a quality product. Should last for years.
The vintage look -
By: Javalicious77 from Manchester Vermont
this is a classic look that goes with either casual or dressy outfit. The large numerals are easy to read while the watchband is very stylish.

Yes, this watch met all my expectations. Very classy, very traditional, very pretty. Could not be happier!
Gorgeous watch! -
I saw this watch in a catalog and fell in love with it so I ordered it for my husband for Christmas/Anniversary! It is even more beautiful in person and it looks wonderful on him. Also, I must thank the Orvis customer-service folks for finding the watch at a retail store and helping it arrive on Christmas Eve....Santa could not have done better!!! Excellence exists in all areas at Orvis!

This watch looks absolutely gorgeous "in person". Gave to my husband for Valentine's Day. He loves it. Looks great with dress clothes and with jeans.
Disappointing purchase -
By: MRM52 from Cheshire UK.
Bought this watch some time ago, kept in box, but never worn until recently. Having been worn intermittently for only three weeks, the strap coating, what ever that may be, has started to peel off. It is a rubbery substance, which appears to me to have been sprayed on in some way. I have never experienced this on any other leather strap or indeed any genuine leather product that I have ever purchased. At this price and with the ORVIS name, I would have expected far higher quality. Lovely watch, spoilt buy inferior strap. Very disappointed indeed and would appreciate an explanation from ORVIS. MW. Hands down, the easiest way to stay on time
Our automatic-movement watches never require battery changes or winding. Simply wear the watch normally, and go about your daily routine. The natural movements of your arm will, throughout the course of the day, “charge” or “wind” the watch, so you always stay right on time.
To keep an automatic watch fully wound, just wear it daily. The remarkably efficient mechanism will harness the motion of your body, transferring this energy to the main spring of the mechanism. An excellent choice for travel, self-winding watches have no hard-to-replace internal battery that could unexpectedly run out when you’re far from home.
