Tungsten Jig Bugger

Bounce this tungsten streamer jig along the bottom and hold on.

Details

A mini streamer tied on a jig hook, the Tungsten Jig Bugger has made a splash on the European competition scene. A tungsten bead head ensures a quick rate of descent, while the compact lines of the fly ensure it can be easily cast on your everyday rod. No need to pull out the streamer rod for this workhorse. Dead drift it under an indicator or strip slowly as you would a normal streamer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding right until I lost it. I bought some to try out in different colors. The red and black one yielded more brim than I cared to count, a 9 in rainbow, and hooked a large rainbow (14-16" from what I saw) that snapped my line in a glorious jump. I suppose that's what I get for being to lazy to change leaders for streamer fishing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality tied pattern Just received and have high hopes for this pattern. Should be great shellcracker fly as well as trout. Really like the barbless hook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works good on Trout I wanted to try this instead of the standard Wooly Bugger, and it worked great, The legs and tail really give it some action in the water. The jig style helped lessen hang ups. Try each of the colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid streamer I used it for tight line style nymphing on the Truckee river, it works well and the jig hook seems to lessen the amount of snags.
