Worth the price -

I like everything about it except that the day-pd-the-week and month buttons are a little too accessible/easy to accidentally push. Actually a relatively minor thing, but keeps it from being 5 stars
Elegant watch marred by a serious flaw -

I so wanted to like this watch. It's very rare to find a watch with both day and month displays. It's very attractive to look at and has a beautiful leather strap. It looks to be very well made; it feels solid and robust (despite being Made in China). It's serious flaw is that the hands are extremely difficult to see (don't let the web site picture fool you). In order to actually see what time it is you end up having to bend, twist, or flex your wrist into a "just right" position so that the hands are clearly visible. This is true whether you're outside in bright sunlight, or inside under fluorescent bulbs. It's not possible to just glance at this watch to see the time, you have to go through this bending, flexing process and then hold your wrist perfectly still while the light reflects off of the hands just so. The stainless steel hands are plenty big enough, they're just extremely difficult to see against the black background unless the light is just so. Perhaps paint the hands white and you'd have a winner but as-is - it's aggravating. It's other shortcoming is less critical but still impactful. The small dials used for month and day are so small that the font size of the lettering is absolutely miniscule. I admit I have to wear cheaters at my age but I've asked my twenty-something friends if they can see the lettering "at a glance" - they can't either. The hour numbers are just fine but the calendar date number is also extremely small. It's such a shame - the watch has so many things going for it but it fails in its most basic mission: to let its wearer tell the time "at a glance". This one's going back I'm afraid.

A watch with multiple funtions at a reasonable price.
