The Story

Travel to Rhode Island and let Orvis-endorsed guide Capt. Aron Cascone create a memorable fly-fishing experience for you. Cascone founded Constant Angler because he felt that he lived in paradise. He grew up fishing with his father on larger sportfishing vessels for tuna and pelagic species while also fly fishing for trout. He gained a passion for targeting many species in shallow water and sight fishing during trips to the Florida Keys. Utilizing these flats tactics in Rhode Island to practice for the next trip, led to the reveal of an astounding fishery in his own back yard.

A saltwater angler's dream scenario awaits those who charter with us. Consider visiting us in May and June when the evening brings the cinder worms to life from the depths of the ponds. Stripers flock to this natural buffet and anglers get the chance to cast at fish, sipping on the surface from the deck of a flats skiff. As the water warms and the summer air brings bigger bass and bluefish north, we move into the tidal estuaries and inshore rips to cast sinking lines to blitzes. You can spend your summer day hurriedly casting to the abundance of fish. Double-ups are far too common. As the high skies of summer take hold, come with us to the flats where anyone familiar with tropical sight-fishing will marvel at the chance to feed crab and shrimp patterns to cruising stripers while our experienced captains pole the flats. When the fish begin to return south in the late summer and fall, book with us again to chase these migrating bass along with their speedy companions, the false albacore, or book a charter to Block Island Sound where giant bass lurk in the depths and personal bests are recorded daily. No fishing license required. All rods, flies, and tackle provided. 1 to 2 clients per trip.
