The Beaverkill Angler is located minutes from Junction Pool when the Willowemoc ends and the Beaverkill doubles in size. The Beaverkill River continues from Junction Pool until it meets the East Branch of the Delaware River. Both rivers are true freestones and flow quickly for a stream east of the Mississippi. Techniques & Tips

Sub-surface will be the most productive way to fish until spring really arrives. Don't assume that only small nymphs will work, focus on the pools and lighter current areas of the river. On the right days you could see midges and olives with fish rising to them. Streamers fished slowly can also work but most of these suggestion will be dictated by the kind of weather we have.
