Techniques & Tips

You can look for rising fish in the mornings, but nymphing faster water is still key (it is more oxygenated than the slow pools) during conditions like these. Conditions are pretty good for August, but rivers are still lower than anglers used to fishing in the spring typically see...so wade carefully and make those presentations count.
