Fly fishing hatches in order of importance:

Fresh steelhead tend to key into pearlescent baitfish patterns, switching over to more neutral colors as they sit in the rivers. Stoneflies are good producers and I have yet to meet the steelhead who won't take a swipe at a well-presented egg pattern.
