Jersey Shore Description

Stretching from the Manasquan Inlet north along the Monmouth County coastline and around Sandy Hook into the Raritan Bay. Here fly anglers can experience great fishing either off the groins and beaches into the Altlantic Ocean or along the inlets into large rivers or the flats and sod banks of the back bays. It's a challenging fishery and success depends on the anglers knowledge on the location of the fish ...

Techniques & Tips

Look for signs of life swimming around, sight fishing can be done mid day, bring crab flys as that is the thing that is keeping the bass and fluke fat.

7-Day Forecast

Tides looking good, water temps are good, fishing is good! Its the dead of summer and its HOT! Fluke, some small blues, occasional bass, and its Cow Nosed Ray season, hook onto one and you'll have a 20 + minute fight. Spanish mackerel are around too!
