Jersey Shore Description

Stretching from the Manasquan Inlet north along the Monmouth County coastline and around Sandy Hook into the Raritan Bay. Here fly anglers can experience great fishing either off the groins and beaches into the Altlantic Ocean or along the inlets into large rivers or the flats and sod banks of the back bays. It's a challenging fishery and success depends on the anglers knowledge on the location of the fish ...

Techniques & Tips

If the water temps stay above 40 degrees, well more around 44-45 the resident, but smaller fish, will remain around. 6-7 wt set ups will work. Its a good time to hit the freshwater when the sun peaks through.

7-Day Forecast

The Fly Fishing Show has been postponed a year, cabin fever will set in by February. Go through your gear, tie some flies, and get out and scout around.
