Jersey Shore Description

Stretching from the Manasquan Inlet north along the Monmouth County coastline and around Sandy Hook into the Raritan Bay. Here fly anglers can experience great fishing either off the groins and beaches into the Altlantic Ocean or along the inlets into large rivers or the flats and sod banks of the back bays. It's a challenging fishery and success depends on the anglers knowledge on the location of the fish ...

Techniques & Tips

Early morning and evening into the nights are best. You'll have the beach to yourself. Look for nervous water, birds, or swirls. Bass and allies are starting to show.

7-Day Forecast

Mid-fall weather is here. Cooler temps get this moving. Watch the tides. Albies seem to be the most consistent, for an inconsistent fish, going right now. Boat, open beach, or jetties near an inlet offer you the best shot. Bass starting to show with bigger school to keeper sized fish moving down and in.
