Jersey Shore Description

Stretching from the Manasquan Inlet north along the Monmouth County coastline and around Sandy Hook into the Raritan Bay. Here fly anglers can experience great fishing either off the groins and beaches into the Altlantic Ocean or along the inlets into large rivers or the flats and sod banks of the back bays. It's a challenging fishery and success depends on the anglers knowledge on the location of the fish ...

Techniques & Tips

Have an arsenal with you. Intermediate and sinking lines and flies from white bait to peanuts to big bunker flies and sand eels.....and some wire if the bluefish arrive

7-Day Forecast

Its winter now. Late 20's air temps in the morning. Sand eel bite continues, mostly smaller fish. Time to go 7 or 8 wt rods for the schoolies.
