Owyhee River, Oregon Fly Fishing Reports & Conditions
My tips of the week
Look to nymph through the earlier stages of the day, and keep your eyes peeled for the PMD hatch around 3 o'clock. The hatch has been spotty, but if you catch it at the right spot it will be great. Using a nine foot 5x leader to your first nymph, and dropping your second with some fluorocarbon 5x tippet will be your best bet. Techniques & Tips

Have a good assortment of Pmd patterns; cripples, emergers, and adults for the hatch. Nymphing your typical split case PMD's and BWO's, with a small midge as your second nymph is a good bet.
