Best time of day to fish: Mid-day through late afternoon

Best stretch: El Vado spring thru fall, Abiquiu fall thru early spring, La Puente Late June- August

Best access point: Below Abiquiu Dam and below El Vado Dam

Techniques & Tips

Attractor nymphs and streamers would be wise as the flows continue to fluctuate. Mayflies, stoneflies, woolly buggers, the usual suspects will all fish well.
