Big Easy Ranch is located in the beautiful hill-country setting of Columbus, Texas, just 70 miles west of Houston. Spanning 2,000 rolling acres in the Texas foothills, Big Easy Ranch offers something for everyone—wingshooting, fishing, whitetail and exotic hunting, golf, corporate entertaining or pure relaxation in the great outdoors. Wingshooting includes upland hunts, European pheasant drives and flighted mallard hunts. Professionally-trained hunting dogs include English cockers, German shorthair pointers, English pointers and Labrador retrievers. A state-of-the-art sporting clay course is designed to stimulate a variety of wingshooting and competition targets. Five lakes are stocked with trophy largemouth bass, and redfish along with seasonal rainbow trout for fly fishing.

You'll enjoy luxury accommodations in king and double-queen rooms complete with rustic furnishings, luxe bedding and towels, private bathroom, coffee bar, and valuables safe. In the Lodge, soaring ceilings, stone fireplace, leather club chairs, big screen televisions and billiards, making it perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Sample of Typical Trip

Arrive mid-day, eat lunch, and warm up on the clays course. Afternoon field hunt followed by drinks, appetizers and dinner. Evening in the game room or at the bar. Morning breakfast at the lodge, followed by a morning hunt. Return for lunch and short rest, then afternoon hunt. Repeat evening routine, and departure the following morning.
