Mild weather permits fishing all year long.
Rainbow Trout and Brown trout are the target species.
Orvis Fly Rods, Leaders, Tippet, and Flies are provided. Lunch is also provided on full-day trips. Basic to advanced fly fishing instruction is provided on all trips and is tailored to individual needs.
Clients should bring waders and wading boots (rentals are available), hat with a brim, polarized sunglasses, wading staff, rain gear and fishing license with personal ID. Neoprene wading socks paired with wading boots are recommended for wet wading during warmer weather.
Full Day trips consist of 8hrs of fishing; starting time is 7:00am and ending at 4:00pm. Half-Day trips consist of 4hrs of fishing; starting at either 7:00am or 1:00pm.
Q. What kind of fishing license do I need?
A. A valid Oklahoma fishing license; 1 day, 5 day and annual are available. Texas and Oklahoma residents 16yrs old and younger or 65yrs and over are exempt.

A. The lodging options range from budget chain hotels, budget cabins and many luxury cabins are available to choose from. Numerous camping and RV sites are also available.

Q. When is the best time to fish?
A. The Lower Mountain Fork River fishes well year-round. Do I have to wear waders? Wet wading is permissible in the warmer months.
