Overview

Hunt as our guest on our private, family-owned and operated Peachburg Plantation in southeast Alabama where you will have exclusive and private use of a beautiful four-bedroom, custom-built hunting lodge. Hunt on horseback, or on a mule-drawn wagon, as we follow our pointing dogs through more than 7,000 acres of gently rolling pine woods and old agricultural fields with scattered hardwood drains.

Our goal is to provide you with a memorable and unique hunting experience. Our family is directly involved and invested in the daily operations at Peachburg. We look forward to sharing our special plantation with you.

  • 4 persons: $6,000/day
  • 6 persons: $7,000/day

  • 4 persons: $7,000/day
  • 6 persons: $8,000/day

  • Up to 6 persons: $10,000/day

*$1,000 discount if hunting at least two full days

What is Provided to Customer

A unique hunting experience which will include necessities such as hunting licenses, shells, and loaner shotgun if necessary. All expenses are included in the price (with the exception of gratuities) so no need to worry about any extra fees.

Itinerary

Sample of Typical Itinerary

Follow us through a day at Peachburg Lodge:

  • Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge.
  • Warm up with trap shooting and hunter safety. Saddle up or wagon up (mule-drawn wagon) for the morning quail hunt from 9:00 am until noon.
  • Lunch back at the lodge with some free time before the afternoon hunt begins.
  • Afternoon quail hunting with fresh dogs and new territory from 2-5 pm.
  • Bream and bass fly fishing (spin or casting) on one of our five stocked lakes (extra reservations for guide if required). Please pre-book guide two weeks in advance.
  • Cocktail hour at the lodge (open bar).
  • Delicious four-course dinner with a focus on local and regional food.

Lodging, Meals, and Accommodations

Custom-built lodge with four private suites and balconies overlooking our private lake. Each suite has its own bathroom. Heart pine furnishings throughout. Breakfast, lunch, gourmet dinners, and open bar.

Gear

Gear: What Should Customers Bring

Appropriate attire including boots, chaps or briar pants, rain gear, and blaze orange vest/hat. Double barrel shotgun required as autos and pumps are not permitted.
