The Skeena Salmon Lodge is nestled along the world famous Skeena River, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and old growth forest. Offering a range of customized, fly-fishing and spin-fishing package tours, the lodge is only a short drive from the airport in Terrace, British Columbia.

After being picked up, you will be greeted at the lodge, a beautiful log chalet, with cocktails and smoked salmon snacks.

Relax while our helpful guides check your gear to make sure you are ready to fish the next day.

Every day, we start with a hearty Canadian breakfast at 7am then set out for our fishing destination. Once there, your guide help you find the best spot to stand and cast.

Hold on tight. The fish here hit hard!

Your fishing days will end at 5 pm with a delicious dinner served every night at 7pm.

Sample of Typical Itinerary

Day 1: Drift boat down the Kitimat River and fish for salmon, steelhead, and trout.

Day 2: Jet boat up the Skeena River and fish for salmon, steelhead, and trout.

Day 3: Tour the remote Cranberry River. Walk in and fish for salmon and steelhead.

Day 4: Jet-sled tour to a small stream on the Kasiks River and fish for salmon and trout.

Day 5: Repeat your favorite day or choose a new adventure.

Day 6: Sightseeing road trip to the ancient Nass Valley lava beds in traditional native territory.



On Site Activities
Fly casting lessons, fly tying, archery, pool table, and darts.

Off-site Activities
Horseback riding, wildlife viewing, river rafting, jet boat tours, and hiking.


What Customers Should Bring

Species you Fish for by Season

Steelhead: Spring, Summer, and Fall
Sockeye Salmon: Summer
Pink and Chum Salmon: Summer to early Fall
Silver or Coho Salmon: Mid-Summer to late Fall


Lodging, Meals, and Accommodations

Enjoy three meals a day and a beautiful and spacious log chalet with a large dining room and bar, big bedrooms with on-suite washrooms, and a covered outside deck. Single rooms are available upon request.
