We always recommend that you dress in layers appropriate for the season. Cotton, although a comfortable fabric is not a god choice for outdoor activities, especially in the summer. The Orvis Ultimate Shooting School is focused more on targets, but we still recommend comfortable boots or shoes, lighter clothing, layers and rain gear.

Students may bring their own shotguns if they wish, but we have plenty of shotguns available for students to use ($30 per day rental fee). Ammunition will be available for purchase in our pro shop.

Are there specific gear recommendations?

We encourage you to bring your own gun, but if a gun is needed, we can provide you with one at $30.00 per day charge. We have ammo for purchase as well.
