When you come visit us at Wynfield, you'll feel right at home in our private, well-appointed cabins that are equipped with all the comforts of home, including a fireplace, living room, and small kitchen. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are second to none; we pride ourselves on becoming friends with our guests and look forward to seeing them back at Wynfield each and every season!

Just like barbeque, sweet tea and football on a Saturday afternoon, quail hunting is a part of our lives, a part of how we grew up, and it's a part of what being from the South is all about. We want you to be a part of this exciting tradition, too. Located in the heart of quail country, Wynfield Plantation represents bobwhite quail hunting at its best, featuring expertly managed woods, private cabins, a sporting clays course and gourmet southern dining. There are few things more thrilling than your dog locked down on a covey of quail that flush high and fast when the time is right! Book your quail hunting experience of a lifetime at Wynfield Plantation.

The Plantation:

Accommodations at Wynfield Plantation include five private cabins. Each group is appointed their own cabin, or cabins, depending on the size of your party. There are a total of 27 beds on the property. Our standard lodging rate is for double occupancy lodging (two people per room, including two beds), but we can gladly accommodate single occupancy for an additional fee if we have the space available. We have two larger cabins that sleep up to seven or eight guests, and three smaller cabins that each sleep up to four guests. Each cabin has a comfortable living room including a fireplace, gun storage area, and satellite TV. There is also a kitchen area in each cabin that includes a Keurig coffee maker and a refrigerator.

Meals are served at the main lodge, which is also where the pro shop and the office are located. Wynfield also has a separate building we refer to as the pavilion. The pavilion is where many of our guests retire to after dinner—it is an enclosed building/game room by the edge of the pond and conveniently located behind the cabins. Play a game of pool, poker, or just relax by the fire in the pavilion!

Food & Drink:

After an exciting day in the field, join us at the main lodge for drinks and hors d'oeuvres followed by an exquisite dinner prepared by our seasoned chef. What is Provided:

The hunting rates include a guide, dogs, transportation to the field (modified Jeep scramblers), a 20-bird allowance per shooter for a full day, and lunch. Lodging rates include a private cabin for your group, appetizers, an open bar, dinner, and breakfast the morning after your stay. Items that are not included are referred to as "incidentals" and are normally charged at the end of your hunt and stay with us. Some incidentals may include bird cleaning, extra birds, ammunition, gun rentals, guide gratuities, service charges (for kitchen/house staff), and pro shop purchases.

Gear Recommendations:

We recommend guests bring boots for walking in the woods, chaps or brush pants, and a shooting shirt or vest. Guests are also required to wear an orange hat or vest for visibility purposes (orange "loaner" vests are available at no additional charge). Wynfield has 20 and 28 gauge over and under shotguns available for rent, but guests are more than welcome to bring their own. We suggest using 7.5 or 8 shot ammunition, which can be brought or purchased on-site.
