We provide all the gear you will need for your adventure. Waders, boots, rods, reels, flies, and the guide are all included in your trip. Lunch is included in your FULL DAY adventure only. An additional $20 Arizona Game and Fish Fishing License is the only item not included.
Gear Recommendations:
We recommend a 9' 5-wt. rod equipped with floating line. If you have waders and boots, no felt.

Season:
Sedona Fly Fishing Adventures guides Oak Creek 12 months a year, 365 days. We target rising brown trout with incredible mayfly hatches in the spring, hoppers, and cicadas in the summer, and some of the best caddis and mayfly hatches in the fall. Winter is streamer season, with air temps from 40-65 degrees!

Region/Terrain:
Oak Creek is a spring creek that originates at the top of Oak Creek Canyon via an aquafer. It is a small to medium size spring creek. We have 15 miles of guidable water, with the creek falling 1,500 feet in elevation over 15 miles. You will find small to medium-size boulders the entire length of the waterway. Larger boulders can be fished as well. Red Rock cliff holes, plunge pools, and riffles are found all the way through the canyon.
