Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket Single layer waterproof outer, no insulation and very rugged. Great design with plenty of easy access pockets, nice collar and ~helmet compatible hood articulation keeps sideways snow and rain manageable. I also use it for snow skiing when i need to dress in multiple layers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for hunters - waterfowl and upland The uninsulated Delta Wading Jacket is an excellent basic piece. From its sturdy fabric and construction to the smart pocket design, underarm vents with zippers, and ample collar and hood to its packability, water tight cuffs, and cinch-able hem. It delivers on all its promises and is becoming the go-to jacket amongst all my hunting friends. We hunt waterfowl and pheasant in Southeast Montana (near Fort Smith). Weather can vary widely. For upland hunting, most folks wear some wool underlayers (e.g., Smartwool Intraknit 200 and a Smartwool 250 1/4 zip) and a thin softshell jacket (e.g., the Orvis Pro Softshell Upland jacket). When the weather turns bad, we simply slip this shell over the top and can withstand heavy rain, wind, and brush. For waterfowl, we simply add another underlayer such as a microfill jacket (e.g., Orvis Pro Insulated Hoodie) or a down layer (e.g., Patagonia down sweater). This shell is very sturdy and well designed. Fit: I am 6'1", 195 lbs and wear a large. This accommodates all the layering mentioned above.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Jacket Bought this jacket during the late season of the PA migratory bird season. I wore this jacket along the water with a down jacket layered underneath and was completely warm in 20 degree weather. The fit and finish is nice and it is sized for layering underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted I bought this for steelhead fishing in the winter as well as duck hunting. It is very well made. Exactly what you expect from Sitka. I did remove the duck straps from the front, which I will never use. Although I commonly wear a large, most Sitka jackets are too snug in large. Therefore I purchased XL to allow for waders and layers. Good choice for me, an all around better fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go to waterfowl rain jacket Got tired of being wet while duck hunting by all the other garments that claimed they were waterproof. I hunt rain or shine and have been in some gully washer storms. This jacket is the real deal. Being Gore-Tex you will be dry in a downpour when it’s raining pitchforks and tatertots. It is cut short for wading with waders on so keep that in mind. Comes to about where a belt would be and sits just at the waist. Excellent product. If you were to only own one piece of Sitka gear, this is the one to have. No better place to get it from than Orvis at that. High quality gear from a high quality company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must-have for Waterfowlers Extremely versatile. Use it from early season as a stand-alone shell and all the way through late season when layering against the cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sitka delta wading jacket One of the best jackets I’ve used for ducking hunting or any rainy/windy situation. Also great to use in any weather situation as it can be used as a shell and room for layering. Fits true to size.
