Miramichi River, New Brunswick, Canada Description

Main South West Miramichi River in McNamee. 45 miles from head of tide. This area of the river has many islands thus creating channels and more small pools. Many of the pools are two to four rod pools and are all wade friendly. Gravel bottom with average size stones in the 4 inch range.

7-Day Forecast

Water height has dropped again .Temps are cool but very few salmon being caught this week. Timing is ideal for more rain in the forecast as we enter the fall season. There are reports of a few fresh fish on the move but we still need rain if there is going to be a fall run.
