Spring patterns are in full play now. Although fish can be caught deep, they can also be caught shallow. Great for the fly fisher! Focus on shallow water where bait fish (shad) are plentiful.

Techniques & Tips

Use sinking lines in shallow water. Don't be afraid to fish areas that are not indicating feeding activity. Good fishing can be found in areas that are very "quiet".
