Euro Nymphing in the deeper runs has been the best way to find fish. A mix of leggy stoneflies, Squirmy worms, Pheasant Tails and Walt's worms have been taking fish. Keep an eye out for rising fish and match the hatch in the evening. If you are in the upper end of the creek, blind casting drys in the riffles may also be productive.
Temperatures will be in the 80's for most of the next few weeks and the water temperatures may reach the 70's in the lower reaches of the McMichaels Creek. The upper creek may fish better closer to Sciota.
