Provo River Description

The Provo River flows from the Uinta Mountains to Utah Lake in Provo, Utah. The Provo boasts 2,500 to 3,500 fish per mile. Browns, Rainbows, and a few cutts call the Provo home. Techniques & Tips

Anglers are finding great hatches on both sections with lots of heads up during the early morning hours and again in the early afternoon....have a good midge pattern like a mother shucker, Griffiths gnat or an Orange Asher Nymphing both sections has still been very productive. This week look for midges to play a major role and have lots of active fish.

7-Day Forecast

There was a mudslide in Provo Canyon just above Herring near Spring Hole. The river from there down is a little off color but should clear up soon.
