Black River, East and West Forks Description

Not all access is closed for the winter, but due to high altitude snow storms great care should be taken.

Techniques & Tips

Search for hold over fish by stripping bead head buggers through deeper slots. Buggers can also be dead drifted through plunge pools under a small strike indicator. Pockets can be searched with s dry/dropper using generic dries and Pheasant Tail or Prince nymphs.
