The Story

An all-around, all-season searching pattern fish can't seem to resist. When you think fish are grubbing around near the bottom, reach for this Peeping Caddis Jig. A tungsten head ensures it will quickly drop down to feeding level and tempt trout from the river bed. Tactical hook is barbless and features a claw point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fly I used this fly for trout on a 100 degree day. The first were just not biting, the fly looked great in the water. Once the weather cools off I will be using this fly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peeping Caddis Using this peeping caddis as my dropper on euronymph setup. It seems that browns and bows love this pattern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results I first purchased a pair of these flies more on a whim than anything else. I was intrigued by the way it presented a moumentary picture of a caddis fly life cycle. I had great success with other paterns tied on the tacital jig hook and this fly was equally good. One of the pair was imeediately lost in a tree, but the second allowed me to" pound" the brown trout all morning until it became too cewed up to be servicable. If you fish a stream that has a caddis fly population you should definately have a supply of these flies. The jig hook must allow it to just bump along the bottom and give it a natural look. I purchased another dozen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great nymph where caddis are present This fly fishes well as a searching pattern on rivers that caddis are present. Even during non hatch periods, it produces. I like fishing this jig on point and suspending a smaller nymph on a tag 18" above it. The chartreuse definitely gets fishes attention.
