Yellow Humpy size 16 -
Great little fly for small creeks and streams! I do not know what it is about them but brown trout love them!

After reading an article about humpry flies for big bream I found and ordered some from ORVIS and can't wait to try them out on my ultra lite fly rod on some big bream . Try ORVIS for your flies and nymphs as they provide great and fast knoelegeable service every time .
High Floating Dry -

The Orvis Humpys (or is it Humpies?) truly are " high floating". I use they for my dry on my dry-dropper rigs more often than not. They float high and are easy to see even in relatively rough water.

Great fly pattern. I guess Orvis doesn't get the credit for inventing the pattern but it is a well tied fly on a strong hook.

When yellow is the color of the day nothighing will out fish this this little fellow. It floats high and is easy to follow. I've caught Rainbows on this fly in Alaska, big water out West and in the trout streams in the Midwest.
One of my favorite dry flies -- Ilike it with red body also
Another great one -

I often fish a few different Humpy variants and colors and can't recommend them enough. They are one of my top 3 go to flies when there isn't any apparent hatch on the water and I'm hoping to create a rise. I like to fish this fly in 14 or 18 depending on the size of the watershed. I recommend having a few in your fly box at all times... you'll be glad you did!
