Our guide started very stiff, but by the end he was more comfortable. For 30 birds, we saw less than 25, bagged 18 but time was up, 4:15 pm?

My first experience Pheasant hunting and had a great time. Have been duck and goose hunting many times but this is without a doubt my must enjoyable experience to date. The guide was friendly and instructed us well on what we should expect before hitting the fields. Can't wait to do this again.

This was our second visit to Primland. I have had 4 hunting days and my last day was the best. There were some stragglers who flew better than the less experienced birds. Excellent dogs and guides.
Good experience with kids too! -

I brought my four and six year old sons on the pheasant and our guide did a great job with them. We took a few birds and really enjoyed watching the dogs work. I would definitely come back.

Hunting is excellent. Guide was best in class. We travel light, use Orvis gear, and have a turnkey experience. This was our third trip. Grass is low in the spring. High in the fall. Dogs very proficient. Also used shhoting instruction class/ sporting clays for my daughter with very good results.

I have taken a group to Primland three times in March over the last three years. Each of our experiences have been excellent. In my judgment Primland currently rates as the best resort experience in Virginia. I have done driven shoots all over the UK for the last 25 years and believe Primland's driven shoot ranks with the best in the UK.

This was my first Upland Bird Hunt after visiting Primland many times for golf and deer hunting. Wonderful place to take family or customers for outing. Food is always outstanding..If you do have the opportunity to visit you must order the "Pig Candy" appetizer..
