    Great All -Rounder - 4/17/2015
    By: from South Carolina

Like number 6 birdshot for wing-shooters and 6-weight line for fly fishermen, the Zug Bug represents an extremely versatile option for almost any species of fresh water fish . My experience only extends to warm water lakes and streams, but bluegill, large mouth bass, channel catfish, and shell crackers all go for this bead head attractor pattern in size 14.

Orvis hooked me with the $1.50 fly offer, so I got a bunch, including this Zug Bug, and they look really good for the price. This one is a nice nymph with a really tasty looking flash in the tail, I'm excited to try it.

This is a great fly to use when the weather turns cold. It produces well in November and December in Pa where I do most of my fishing.
