Works on the Bighorn River. -

Great fly, works good on the lower Bighorn River. Brown Trout like them. I'm buying more.
Love the fly...but -

This is one of my favorite steelhead patterns of all time. Love eveyrthing about it except for the trailer wire. It seems like this is just backing. I can fish the fly about 3 times through a run and then from hitting rocks and other obstructions, the "backing" breaks. Seven bucks down the drain. Orvis, please tie this with the Senyo intruder wire to help with this problem!
Coho central! -

I have all the Senyo Intruder paterns and the Senyo Gangsta Intruder as well, I think the rainbow and the blak/purple are the best colours. Ive used them on my 8wt 9' Scott rod with a 8wt Lamson Konic reel for salmon up to 10 - 12 lbs. i had a bout a 15 lb Coho on last weekend that straightened the hook but still kept catching the fish!!!! Best "flashy" streamer Ive ever used! Ive also used the copper intruder on a Gloomis 5/6 with and eastfork5/6 sinking tip and smashed cutthroat trout on this fly!!!!
Buy more than one -
I have had great luck with the intruder and it's holding up well. I highly recommend!

Easy to cast and very effective! A great swung fly pattern for anadromous species across the Great Lakes and beyond.
