I have not been Fly Fishing long but I love it. Most of the guys I fish with just use worms or other types of live bait. I am the only guy in the 'Hood' who fly fishes. Imagine the fun they had when I pulled out the quick sight B. Well no one is laughing Now!!!!!!! Think you Orvis!!!!!!
Very productive fly -

I found this to be a great fly for panfish. It has been a consistent performer for me this season. If I have one complaint, it is the painted dot, which seems to rub off very easily. If you are counting on that dot to help find the beetle in fading light, you may be disappointed. I still give it 5 stars because of how well it attracts fish.

The Quick Sight foam beetle is my favorite dry fly beetle pattern. It is easy to cast, it floats well even when wet, is durable and is easy to see on the water. This fly is effective on pan fish, smaller bass and trout. This fly is also productive on ultra light spin fishing rigs using a casting bubble or weighted bobber.

With terrestrials making up the majority of a small stream trout's diet during the summer months, they are an essential part of any well rounded fly box. This fly in 14 and 16 has fished great for me and I believe works well imitating carpenter ants as well. I've been pleasantly surprised with how visible the fly is and caught a ton of fish with it. Love it!
