Manager Profiles
Dale Robinson - Fishing Manager Manchester, Vermont Fishing Manager: Dale Robinson
Dale has had a fly rod in his hand since attending the Orvis Fly Fishing School at age 7. Born on Long Island, NY he grew up fishing the small trout streams and ponds that dot the island along with the many back bays and estuaries along the north shore. Dale headed to Saratoga Springs, NY to earn a degree in geology and spend his free time chasing trout, salmon, bass and anything else that would take his flies. He spent two years teaching geology labs at his alma mater before moving west to Idaho to work for a small Orvis dealer and focus his efforts on the local cutthroat trout population. Dale's eastern roots drew him back to the Adirondack foothills where he spent 7 years with another Orvis dealer in Saratoga Springs before joining the Manchester Flagship team in the spring of 2007. When not at the store Dale can be found on the Battenkill River or hiking and fishing the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains. He resides in Saratoga Springs with his wife.
