knees too tight -
By: jccb from Carlisle, Pa.
I wanted bootfoot because of a bad hip. Boots fit fine, and the quality is fine as well. The problem is the knees are so restrictive you can't bend them far enough to get over obstacles, or climb in or out of water with steep banks, rocks etc. As a beginner fly fisher at 65 I've bought nearly all my gear from Orvis. I might need to test the "return at any time" policy on these. If there's a better alternative I will exchange for them.

Look as good as the stockingfoot version. Boots seem a bit heavy but that should prove useful when wading.

I have been buying orvis products for quite a few years now and can honestly say that the quality of the product is excellent. The orvis after sales service is exceptional and second to none and I have no hesitation in recommending their range of products to anyone.

Boot foot Waders -
By: Isgrigg from Michigan
I have had a pair of there waders before and after several years I had a leak in the back of the leg at the boot. A tube of Auqa-seal later I could not stop the leak. So I bought a new pair. I am 5'-6" and the top of the waders almost go over my head and they don't make a small / short in my boot size (9). I assume they will keep me dry, but it would be nice if they fit a little better. I have not used them yet, so I can not speak about the new soul material or the boot construction. The old waders boots were a little weak and I had to reinforce them.
Great boots -

I bought these boots for winter steelhead fishing and it was an excellent choice. My feet stayed perfectly warm which never happens with regular wading shoes. My fishing partner had to leave the water as his feet froze. I added carbide studs to the soles for added traction and now have absolutely perfect boots for winter fishing.
Great 3 season wadders -
By: SouthernOregonFlyGuy from Southern Oregon
I ordered the Orvis Boot Foot Endura wadders as my feet get cold in stocking foot/boot wadders. I haven't had a chance to wear the wadders yet as we are into winter season in Oregon, but I look forward to using them in March. The wadder boot size is true, I ordered a 10 so I could wear two layers of socks. They seem very well made and I like the feature where they roll down to be just pants rather than chest wadders. I figure I can use them March through October.
Typical Orvis Quality -

Orvis waders are the only waders I ever purchase. Bootfoot or stockingfoot, they always hold up and are good quality. This is the first pair of Endura's that I bought and I like them alot. They are different then my older Silver labels. The Silver labels had more of a cottony feel to them, but the endura already proved to be a tough material. I like that the lower portion is thicker material, especially because I jetty fish often. The only minor complaint that I have, on my silver labels, the areawhere the boot is fused to the wader, there is a neoprene connection which is very comfortable. With the Endura' s the top portion is fused directly to the boot. Over time I can feel the top of the boot rubbing my leg. This is a very minor quibble. Overall these are fantastic performing waders and I would highly recommend them. Plus your buying from Orvis. Great company with great service.

purchased these boots in september 2014. i wanted to give them a good workout before i wrote this. After 15 trips across the beaches of north and central jersey i am very satisfied with these waders. buy your boot 1 size larger than your reg. size and where mid weight boot socks. overall they are extremley comfortable and so far durable.
