Great waders -

Only one problem that I can see. They are hard to get on because the suspenders don't unsnap in the in the front and you have to wiggle into them.
Outstanding Purchase -

I ordered the convertible Silver Sonic waders and they were not only delivered on time but they are a fantastic product and at a great price. People can pay a higher price for a competitor's product but the quality is not any better! Heading to the Owyhee River, Oregon to catch some 20"-30" browns on the fly!

Bought these waders as a gift to myself. Wore them a few days after they arrived and caught the biggest rainbow of my life, so they must work! Seriously, great product.
Lightest Waders Ever -
By: Chico45 from Southeastern Ma.
I have been using the old style heavy waders with attached boots all my life. After years of looking at these waders I finally purchased them. The first thing I noticed was the feeling that I didn't have on any waders at all. The second thing is I always sweat in waders no matter what the temperature is outside. I guess these waders are really breathable as I did not sweat in them.
Really nice Waders -

The Quality and Fit of these wades is great. I have not had a chance try them out, but I know I'm going to love these waders. Excellent Quality!
So far so good -
Just got a pair of silver sonic convertible waders - first new pair in about 10 years. First - they fit great. At 6'6", I can't always say that, but the XL - XLong are perfect. Quality looks good and the waders are comfortable to wear. Will stream test them in a few weeks. Only wish is for a place to attach my net on the back of the shoulder straps (guide series has a ring, but not the convertible series).

These waders are among the best. The people that work at the Orvis store in Baton Rouge are very experienced in what they do. Even though this wader was not in stock, they size me and my up for waders that fit perfect. Last year they sized up the right outfit(3 weight Clearwater rod with a Battenkill II reel for my son and a 4 weight Clearwater rod with a Battenkill III reel for me) for both my son and I. They were perfect for the Appalachian Mountains. Going back this year with the waders to fish creeks even harder. Thanks Orvis!
silver sonic convertable waders -

Bought these waders 3 years ago and have to say they are the most comfortable and durable waders I have ever purchased Previous waders (including Orvis Guide waders) always leaked in seams after about a1 year. Not so with this new technology and moving seems away from inside. I fish year around and at least 200 times a year. The silver sonics have kept me dry and comfortable through various terrain and weather conditions.
For tall men with big feet -
By: 2tall4most from Wilsonville, OR
Overall I'd recommend these to anyone considering Simms or Patagonia, The Orvis wader has great construction and exhibits several thoughtful design components found in these premium brand waders at near twice the price. I purchased the XL Tall after stopping in at the local Orvis store and being fitted with the XL (no tall sizes in stock). I'm 6'6", 36" inseam, 250lbs with size 15 feet. My waders arrived after about a week from ordering in-store. Overall fit (XL Tall) is quite nice when standing up and given conscious, controlled kneeling or squatting the fabric becomes taught (no slack). That said I suspect if taking a fall at some point I might blow a seam, which is ultimately why I returned these waders before getting them wet. The neoprene feet are true to size in my view, size 14 really is the limit. My size 15 feet snug up to the toe-end with an initial impression that they might work. The feet have great reinforcements built-in that I don't see in either the Simms or Patagonia however, after walking in them once again I felt these would not last the test of time and unexpected falls/extensions. If you're considering these waders, go for it you won't be disappointed. For my height and foot size I'll need to continue my quest. I wish Orvis offered a custom bootie and length adjustment, even with an up-charge these would still be worth the investment.
Comfortable rugged waders. -
By: GrumpyOldFlyFisherman from Pennsylvania
I have had waders from several name brand companies. I would either sacrificing comfort or toughness. I would never get both comfort or toughness in a pair of waders until I purchased these waders!! I can wear them a entire day on the water with no complaints.
