Not a Damascus blade...
I received this as a Christmas gift because I had it in my short list of items circled on an Orvis catalogue. This in NOT a damascus steel knife... it just has some etched or laser drawn looking pattern and basically an Italian made damascus look-alike knock off. Not worth the money at all and this one will be going back to the store. Not the product I expect from years of buying Orvis and disappointed by the misleading description.

Great "Executive Gifts"
I bought two of these for friends "high up on the list" with special life events.
The knives are well made and impressive "daily carry" knives. Both recipients were very excited to receive them. I shopped custom and factory knives and this rams horn and damascus knife is a great value. This knife may well become my signature gift! Thanks Orvis for a great product at a very competitive price.

Beautiful knife
Initial thought was that knife was too small with a 2" blade but has quickly become my favorite unique EDC. Build quality is very good but not excellent for a knife in this price range.

Perfect size
Just right blade length. Perfect overall size for a gentleman's pocket knife. The workmanship is excellent and the damascus steel blade pattern is quite beautiful. This my second because I lost the first and wanted to replace it.
