What To Pack For A Trip To Alaska

Our Alaska Packing List includes everything you’ll need in America’s Last Frontier, from fly fishing gear to clothing that keeps you comfortable. In summer, you might be casting for rainbow trout or heading out to whale watch. Either way, you can count on a DriCast shirt, hoodie, or pullover for soft, breathable sun protection. Wintertime travel means coming prepared for cold and dry conditions. Temps dip fast, and you’ll want to stay dry and warm, so insulated, waterproof gear is a must. When it’s time to hit the water, our fish-anywhere rods travel light and keep you casting all day. Waders move with you when you’re on the river, and a PRO Waterproof pack is essential. It keeps your gear close, your flies and tools handy, and your essentials safe—whether you’re on the trail or off the grid in the Alaskan backcountry.
