The Story

This Henryville fly was created by Hiram Brobst and was christened on the Henryville section of Pennsylvania's Broadhead Creek. The Henryville is a superior adult caddis imitation and has been around for many years. One of the classic dry flies, it is excellent for skittering, or you can clip the hackle on the bottom so that it will stay upright and float lower in the film. Color, Natural.

Sizes: 12, 14, 16, 18.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fly! My go to fly when fishing in the mountains here in PA. When nothing else is working the Henryville Special always works

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great caddis fly This fly often works better than other caddis flies on our spring creeks--not sure if it's the nice wings or the color, but if the trout are picky, I go for this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fly I wanted this fly to have its wings down, which it did. Great fly that produced when needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brodhead The creek's name is Brodhead, named after Daniel Brodhead one of the area's founders, not Broadhead. Great fly when the caddis are raging.
