Gear Recommendations:
Dress in layers for cooler mornings and warmer afternoons. Blaze orange vest/jacket and cap are recommended. Brush pants are recommended, but not essential. A good pair of walking boots is essential.
Shotguns in 12, 16, 20, and 28 gauge are recommended, and we strongly suggest #6 shot (lead) while hunting. Although we prefer clients to use side-by-side or over-and-under shotguns, pump-actions and semi-autos are permissible. If using a pump-action or semi-auto, please be attentive and collect all ejected casings while hunting and ensure the breach of the guns is open while not hunting.

Yes, as long as your dogs do not harass livestock on one of the many working cattle ranches we lease.
What shot size do you recommend?
We recommend #6 lead shot through modified chokes.
What is the nearest airport?
The nearest commercial airports are Midland (2.5 hours) and El Paso (3 hours). Both Alpine and Marfa offer private airstrips available to guest preferring to travel in their own planes.
How many hunters can you accommodate?
We typically prefer 1-3 hunters. We can make exceptions for 4 hunters on a single hunt, but please discuss with us before your hunt. We are also able to accommodate groups of 6 hunters by splitting the group 3-3 on our quail Jeeps.
Additional Activities:
We also offer aoudad (Barbary sheep) and pronghorn hunting on a limited basis to our quail hunting guests. Please contact us for more information.
