He comes from a long line of traditional passionate fly fisherman and wingshooters and brings to Orvis a very intimate knowledge of Pennsylvania Freestone and Limestone streams. His passion is fly fishing for wild Rainbows, Brown, and Brook Trout on spring creeks throughout Pennsylvania.
Dave also has been an avid fly tier for 25 years and loves to teach tying and fly fishing. Dave has done some independent guiding throughout the country for Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail, Pheasant and Grouse, as well as fly fishing. His time outside of being on the clock, he can be found picking bluegrass and playing and watching music, and spending time with his new daughter. Orvis has been a name and lifestyle that Dave and his family has lived by for 3 generations, and it is obvious when you meet Dave that he maintains that lifestyle and loves his work.
