Rated 5 out of 5 by from There's no place like Andros My first time bonefishing was amazing. The ladies were at the lodge were very nice and took great care of us. They even had Orvis rods that we could use. The lodge is right by the beach and is nice and quiet. We slept great and the food was awesome. Our guide worked his butt off all day getting us into fish. Most of the time we did not see any other boats or buildings or people, it was just us and the sun and the water. A great trip I will never forget. We saw sharks and rays and barracuda too! But there's nothing like hooking into a bonefish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Experience! Just returned from a week fishing at Eva's Bonefish Lodge. I have fished all over the world and I can unequivocally say Eva's is just about my favorite. Fishery is outstanding, as are the guides, the lodging, the food and the staff. Be ready for lots of shots at big, big, voracious bones. I caught at least four bones per day, none less than four pounds, and my largest was 8+. Even the less experienced saltwater anglers did well -- catching up to 12 large bones in a single day. If you go, be prepared to make great friends in your guide, staff and chef, and bring some pants with room to grow in to -- the food is out of sight. I will be back ASAP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible time at Eva's Just got back from Eva's and had an incredible time. My brother and I came down looking to get into bonefish. I was blown away with how many bonefish are on their flats. The service was second to none. From our guide Lavardo to Mrs. Wendy and the chef Renaldo we felt very welcomed. If you're looking to catch bonefish and have an authentic Bahamas experience then I highly recommend Eva's. Plenty of fish, excellent food, and top notch service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Salt Water Fishing Trip Ever I just got back from what can only be described as a dream of a lifetime flyfishing trip to Eva's Bonefishing Lodge on Andros Island. Jason, the lodge owner, was very dedicated to ensuring that arrangements were tailored to my needs. The lodge itself is very comfortable with excellent accommodations. It is located within a stone's throw of a beautiful white sand beach which can be seen from the front porch of the lodge. One of the most memorable features of the entire experience was the warmth and graciousness of our hosts at the lodge. We were welcomed with a big hug and warm smiles. Immediately, the staff made me feel like part of the family. Food was exceptional! Fresh fish, shellfish and outstanding fresh vegetables and fruit prepared by the lodge chef were delightful to the eye as well as the palate. Windy was always there to ensure the comfort of each guest and worked diligently behind the scene to ensure logistical arrangements went well. The fishing was spectacular and Shawn, my guide was amazing in his ability to facilitate my catching many, many bonefish. He would position the boat just right with respect to the fish, wind and sun to give me the best chance for a good presentation. As a senior citizen, I am somewhat limited with respect to mobility and he was very helpful in assisting me with a calm demeanor and constant sunshine smile. I can't express how much I enjoyed this trip and am already planning to return when I can stay even longer. Just can't get enough of this place!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Anniversary Vacation My wife and I wanted to celebrate our first anniversary in a special location that would allow for a beautiful setting as well as some world class bonefishing. I am glad to report that Eva's Bonefishing Lodge was a great choice. On our arrival to the island we had fresh flowers waiting in our lodge room. What a special anniversary surprise. My wife and I were thrilled with this thoughtful gesture. We stayed for three nights and two full days of fishing. Our guide Sean was very helpful and gave us great instruction on catching bonefish. This style of fly fishing was a little different than we were used to and Sean very patiently helped us improve our proficiency. I have a picture of him and my wife holding her first bonefish. There were two BIG smiles. The lodge is centrally located on the island and is a short drive from the launch. Wendy and Nadu were gracious hosts. Every afternoon we had conch or lobster fritters with wine or cool beers on the porch overlooking the beautiful grounds and beach. We even went on a late night "Land Crab Expedition" with the help of some local lads! Walking the isolated, unspoiled beaches is something we will always remember. I would highly recommend Eva's to anyone thinking about a great bone fishing destination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bonefish Capital An unbelievable fishing experience. If you love bonefish, you have to fish here. The lodge is perfectly situated so you do not drive long distances to get on the water and when you start fishing stand by because you do not have to wait long before your reel is singing. The guides are great and know exactly what to do to get you on fish FAST! The lodge is extremely comfortable and staff is right there with anything you might need or want. Sitting on the porch with Wendy's famous Conch Fritters and an ice cold beer is a perfect end to a great day of fishing. The gourmet meals were amazing and plentiful. I am already thinking about my next trip to Eva’s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best kept secret!! Andros is a huge, beautiful island. Staniard Creek is known as "the garden of Andros". Nestled in this beautiful community is Eva's Bonefishing Lodge - the best kept secret on the island! The lodge is so cozy, it feels like home. This is my second trip here, and as I approached the lodge, I had this feeling like I was going back home! The jewel of Eva's, Aunt Blonnie, is an angel. She is the glue and the entire family is involved in making your trip a very special one. The fishing! Oh, the fishing! Whether we go out in the boat or just explore along the creeks, it is simply AMAZING.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from small, intimate fishing lodge with wifi My son and I spent three nights and two days fishing at Evas Bonefish Lodge. The rooms are cool, clean, and comfortable, the food is gourmet quality, and the staff is attentive and helpful. And, of course, the bonefishing is world class. We can't wait to return.
