Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rawhide! We had a fantastic day fishing with our guide Wallace at Rawhide Ranch! The flow was low and the rainbows were huge - we all caught the largest trout of our lives. Thanks again Wallace!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Day! I have some fly fishing experience, my friend who joined me has none. Mike and Ian were absolute all-stars! They ensured that we had a great time and that we walked away with the knowledge we needed to get out there on our own. Without question, I would hire them and the FRA team again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun day on Tarryall Creek I fished Tarryall Creek with Alex Hoskin and we had a terrific day. Neither of us had fished this particular stretch before (RMAC A21) but, like usual, Alex had done thorough research and preparation so we were ready to go. The day started off snowy and cool, but we got into fish early and kept catching most of the day. Lots of medium size browns, plus a nice brookie and a chunky rainbow. Alex is a true pleasure to spend a day on the river with. He lets me fish, but pays very close attention and is quick and eager to help out. He's fun to be with and always courteous and respectful. We fish as a team, and I always have a great time. Front Range Anglers has lots of terrific guides that I have enjoyed fishing with, but I feel lucky to have teamed up with Alex. I will be back for more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best day fishing! Our group had a wonderful day on the Thompson River fishing with Front Range Anglers! They were very knowledgable and helpful, especially for so many newbies in the group! It was so fun to learn and hang out on the river all day. And I caught 3 fish! Can't wait to book again soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Day on the River David took great care of us and showed us the ropes. He was very patient giving us instruction but also got us on the water quickly. I was with my son and his girlfriend. Two of us had fly fished before but not recently. He showed us the technique and we were all successful getting strikes on the Big Thompson River. All in all a beautiful day on the water thanks to Front Range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional experience I have nothing but great things to say about Tim at Front Range Anglers. I think that most of the time guides are hired with the implicit instruction to get fish on their client’s lines quickly and as often as possible. In my case I was looking for some coaching. It was a perfect day: snow just finishing up, 32 degrees, water levels changing, fish mostly inactive, water dark. I was able to explore new types of setups, different rods, various approaches to interesting reads, new hand positions and body positions. Tim was on top of it. In particular, he was interested in analyzing habitual problems while developing corrections and new, maybe even novel solutions - at least they were new to this guy. For me, it was a fascinating and rewarding day under some difficult conditions…pretty much exactly what I was looking for. And yeah, we did catch some fish. In fact, I was able to land a couple of fair sized trout on what to my mind were ridiculously small tippet and tiny flies. Really enjoyable and a great learning experience. Also, I can’t forget to mention Antonio’s willingness to actually listen to what I was interested in accomplishing and pointing out Tim as the guy to work with. I highly recommend Front Range Anglers guide service. Thanks guys, for a great, productive and interesting day.
