Upstate NY for Salmon, Steelhead, & Trout.

Typical Weather By Season

Spring, Summer, & Fall in New England is a fairly comfortable place to fish. Warm clothes and Raingear is something I always bring along in case of inclement weather. The Temps can fluctuate between mid 50s and upper 80s F so it is always best to check the forecast a few days before the trip.

The fall and winter in upstate NY can be a frigid place to fish. It is best to bring base layers, fleece pants, proven rain gear and hand warmers the later in to the season we're fishing.

What should customers bring?

Folks are more than welcome to bring their favorite setup or multiple rods if they prefer. Bring a camera to take pictures of their catch and whatever personal items they would like to have with them. Also a good pair of polarized glasses is one of the best things they can have to increase their opportunity of seeing and catching fish.
