The Story

Our breathable Raised Cooling Dog Bed is the solution to keep your dog more comfortable on hot days. This raised bed allows all-around air circulation, particularly helpful for double-coated breeds such as Labs and Retrievers. The elevated design features a durable, mold-resistant, breathable, mesh fabric center that promotes air flow and allows water to drain. Mesh sleeping area provides consistent, full-body orthopedic support. Anodized, corrosion-resistant finish is fully integrated with the aluminum so it cannot chip or peel. Weather-resistant materials for use outdoors. Easy to move and transport. Legs can be removed to lower height or use in a crate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Close to impossible to assemble I am a builder by trade. I wanted more than anything to love this platform since quite honestly it is the nicest one on the market. This being the case, I was more than willing to overlook the little bit of assembly required. First, the supplied wrench is just about too large for the supplied my lock nuts. Expected this for an import. Three legs assembled without any trouble. The fourth however made me almost toss the entire bed out the window. In order to install the final leg, to vertical stretchers need to be spread in order to seat the foot properly. I am an able bodied, relatively strong and fit 51 year old male and I absolutely could not accomplish the task even with the help of a clamp. I finally had to resort to modifying the length of each stretcher in order to make fourth leg assembly possible. All that said, my dog seems to like the bed. But then again her favorite chew stick is a carpet tack strip. My ask is that Orvis communicated to the manufacturer about product tolerances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to assemble, but dog loves it Had to get help to assemble, ended up buying two bolts longer than ones included to finally get fourth corner together. Still not perfect, but definitely holds together. Dog loves it. Only recommending because the dog enjoys it so much. Was close to giving up and sending back.
