The Story

A Hare's ear fly with a tungsten bead and stacked hare's ear fibers for a tail would ordinarily be enough bells, but this Hare's Ear has a beautifully segmented flashback body. Having Hare's Ears with tungsten is a definite advantage, especially when fishing the huge rivers of the West where you have to get deep to succeed in hooking big fish. In olive, natural.

Sizes 10, 12, 14, 16.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best rainbow food Tungsten head - fly gets down quickly. Flashback is great attractant. It is just a staple that every trout fisherman needs to have in their fly box. I get them in various sizes for various conditions. It is my "go to" fly when fishing is slow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have Nymph Flies Nymphs are must have flies that imitate sub-surface food sources that comprise the majority of a trout’s diet. These flies have been consistently productive for me on everything from stocked rainbows and browns, to wild brookies on urban and park streams throughout Virginia. Always in my fly box.
